Tanach

The Mesivta's Tanach curriculum provides our students with the opportunity to gain a breadth of knowledge and become familiar with the basic texts while gaining a deeper appreciation for, and the Hashkafah to be gleaned from, Tanach. This course alternates annually between a thorough study of the portions in the books of Bamidbar or Devarim and learning Navi, such as Sefer Shmuel. Our students develop both the skills and desire to independently pursue all that a serious study of Tanach has to offer. We also provide a popular option of joining an all-Hebrew Tanach B'Ivrit class so that interested students can sharpen their Hebrew skills through learning Tanach.
